When deciding on your Sto EWIS, you have six insulants, nine systems, and thousands of surfaces made of render, brick, or stone to choose from. Our advisors will be happy to help you develop the perfect solution for your project. You define the requirements and Sto delivers the perfect system solution – it’s as simple as that.
Our rainscreen cladding facade systems (RSC) are highly adaptable, making them particularly well suited to facade designs optimised for energy efficiency on new builds and refurbishments. The StoVentec systems consist of facade materials, insulation, and sub-construction. You receive all system components from a single source and can choose from solutions with plaster, glass mosaic, ceramic, natural stone and glass. For maximum energy efficiency, there is our thermal bridge-free stainless steel and aluminium sub-construction.
StoSignature gives you many different opportunities to decorate facade surfaces with tried-and-tested yet somehow unique textures: from fine to rough, linear or graphic. Materials ranging from classic floated render through to free-style textured render in various grain sizes provide scope for new combinations and techniques. When it comes to colour design, there is a wide range of facade paints, lasures, and effect materials to choose from. Working in materials such as natural sand mixtures, transparent chips of glass, or silicon carbide add a certain something and make the facade a real eye-catcher.
Natural stone facades with StoStone:
Natural stone slabs from company-owned quarries can be cut in modular formats, resulting in absolutely unique yet cost-effective decorated insulated facades.

Malleable facade elements with StoDeco
Verolith®, our lightweight mineral construction material, offers you new possibilities in three-dimensional facade design. The material can be milled using CNC methods, so you can implement three-dimensional designs for facade surfaces very precisely. The StoDeco facade elements made of Verolith® can be used on any of our insulation systems as facade sculptural shapes, ledges, or panels.

StoColor Lotusan®
Sto integrated the natural self-cleaning effect (the lotus effect) of the lotus plant for the first time in the StoColor facade paint Lotusan® back in 1999 in order to protect buildings. The unique Lotus-Effect® Technology ensures that beautiful facades stay pristine for longer and also helps them clean themselves. As a result, dirt runs off with the raindrops in a matter of seconds.
StoColor Dryonic®
Sto’s product developers achieved another biomimetic milestone with StoColor Dryonic®. This facade paint repels water from the facade, just like its inspiration, the fog-basking beetle. Fast drying leads to dry and permanently attractive facades. Algae and fungi are deprived of the nutrients they need to grow. Today, Dryonic Technology is also available with integrated UV protection to prevent bold colours from fading or in the X-black version, which prevents dark facades from heating up.
