A look behind the facade of StoCretec
Since the mid-1970s, we at StoCretec have been using our knowledge and energy to enable sustainable construction and create aesthetic value. As a medium-sized family company, we have retained our independence and the transparency of our corporate structure - and at the same time have grown internationally.
The focus of our activities is in Europe and Asia. The products for concrete and soil have been used successfully there for years. Our own local production sites, e.g. in Sweden, also ensure short delivery times.

The name StoCretec is introduced to the German market.
Transformation into an independent company, StoCretec becomes a 100% subsidiary of Sto AG in Stühlingen.
Merger with Ispo Concretin (floor coating division of ispo GmbH, a company of the Dyckerhoff Group) and move to Kriftel near Frankfurt/Main
With the conversion of Sto AG into Sto SE & Co. KGaA, a partnership limited by shares, StoCretec becomes a subsidiary of Sto SE & Co. KGaA.
Sto takes over Hesselberg Bygg AS, Norway, a leading manufacturer of floor coatings in Scandinavia
Sto acquires a majority stake in Viacor Polymer GmbH. The StoCretec range in the area of floor coatings is being expanded.

At the end of 2020, the group was represented in 38 countries with 50 of its own operating subsidiaries and their production sites.
At the end of 2020, the global production network of the Sto Group comprised a total of 34 locations - 12 in Germany and 22 abroad.
