Investing in the training of young people is an investment in the future of our society. For this reason, the Sto Foundation supports young people in their technical and academic training. In addition to professional expertise, the aim is to provide a broad foundation for the personality and social responsibility of those supported.

The main task of the non-profit Sto Foundation is to support young people in their training. In addition to architecture students, the foundation supports trainees in the painting and plastering trades who are socially disadvantaged or in need of financial assistance, but who are also role models for others thanks to their above-average performance.
The focus is on the professional training and personal development of the graduates.

If you want to master the future, you have to lay the foundations for it today. Few factors are of such central importance as the education of those who will face the challenges of tomorrow.
The Sto Foundation supports students of architecture and building sciences who show exemplary commitment or a high level of talent, but whose financial resources do not allow them to study properly.

The overarching aim of the Sto Foundation ties in with the Sto Group’s Mission Statement – “Building with conscience.” – and increases awareness of the importance of designing living space tailored to environmental and human needs. In addition to education and training in painting, plastering, architecture, and building sciences, the Foundation’s funding also supports the following areas: research projects and one-off projects from the construction industry which have a particular focus on the protection of historical buildings and monuments, energy efficiency, or environmentally friendly construction.
