Sto remains EWIS world market leader

For the seventh time, Sto SE & Co. KGaA is the global market leader for external wall insulation systems. The company also holds this title in 2026, awarded by Wirtschaftswoche magazine.

Every year, Wirtschaftswoche honours "world market leaders" - these are medium-sized companies that are active in high-growth market fields, invest in innovation and operate internationally. The other factors are a solid financial structure and a focus on the appeal of the brand. The business magazine has now announced the World Market Leader Champions 2026. The requirements: Highest or second-highest market share, annual turnover of more than 50 million euros, half of which is generated abroad on at least three continents. "This seventh award proves that we are staying on course even in the face of these ongoing economic challenges," says Sto Chief Executive Officer Rainer Hüttenberger. "Despite the significant cuts in the overall market, Sto is continuing to develop its internationalisation and is focusing on future-proof and sustainable products in research and development. The commitment of our employees has once again made this success possible."
