Environmental protection is an ongoing process for Sto. Since 2009, Sto has been pursuing concrete environmental goals and protection measures in its environmental programme in order to improve its impact on the environment and make the consumption of resources and energy efficient.

The Sustainability Report 2023 provides comprehensive insights into Sto's six strategic topics of climate protection, environmental protection, circular economy, health & well-being, transparency & social responsibility, and employees.

With the sustainability report prepared in accordance with the GRI standard (2021), the Sto Group is even more transparent for investors, shareholders and lenders. It is also intended to serve authorities, customers, service providers, suppliers and the general public. Sto reports in detail on its sustainability strategy and publishes non-financial key figures. The report shows the trend-setting sustainability agenda and serves as a basis for the fulfilment of future reporting obligations in accordance with the EU Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD).
