Construction Products Regulation

New regulation in force since 1 July 2013

On 1 July 2013, the Construction Products Regulation (Regulation EU No. 305/2011) came into force and replaced the Construction Products Directive (Directive 89/106/EEC) that was in force until that date.

All products covered by a harmonised European standard (hEN), for which a European Technical Approval (ETA, according to ETAG) has been issued or for which a European Technical Assessment (ETA, according to EBD, from 1 July 2013) will be issued in the future, are affected. These are organic and mineral top and bottom renders, levelling compounds, wall coverings, insulating materials, but also entire façade insulation systems.

This applies according to the EU Construction Products Regulation:

• Declarations of Performance (DoP) and Safety Data Sheets must be made available for construction products.

• Construction products must be CE marked.

Therefore, in addition to the safety data sheet and the technical data sheet (incl. long form of the CE marking), StoCretec also provides the declarations of performance (DoP) in various languages as a PDF for downloading on the website https://datamaster.sto-net.com/externalData/dop-ce.jsp.
The short form of the CE marking can be found on the containers or packaging of our products.
