When things have to be done quickly, curing can become a brake - or systems are used that can be applied safely even on substrates that are still damp. This is precisely the advantage offered by the StoFloor Industry EH 200 epoxy hybrid coating system as an intermediate coating or as a very hard-wearing wearing surface without high aesthetic demands on concrete or cement screeds. Residual moisture on young substrates or substrates with moisture penetration from the rear is not a problem, as the coating is waterproof but open to vapor diffusion. The moisture can therefore not cause blisters. With floor coatings that are impermeable to water vapor, moisture in the substrate can lead to osmotic blistering. Such blisters are not only a visual defect, they also impair functionality. StoFloor Industry EH 200 as an intermediate coating under water vapor impermeable floor coatings reduces this risk to a minimum.

The system not only saves time in terms of the screed's setting time, but the coating itself is also fast: it can be recoated with a top coat after around four hours. With StoFloor Industry EH 200, a complete coating including top coat is possible in just one day. This reduces downtime to a minimum, especially for renovation work. The system can be used universally - e.g. also as a floor coating for escape and rescue routes or for leveling firmly adhering tiles.

Simple laying

StoCrete EH 200 consists of a cementitious and a liquid component. After mixing, two curing mechanisms take place in parallel: the hydration of cement and water and the polyaddition reaction of epoxy resin with the amine hardener. The epoxy resin accumulates in the pores of the cement matrix and narrows them. This creates the waterproof, yet water vapor-permeable layer. Application is simple: the coating is self-leveling. It is spread using a notched trowel or squeegee and deaerated with a spiked roller.
