StoFloor Balcony Elastic EB 200 with new scope

Tested as walkable waterproofing: The elastic coating system StoFloor Balcony Elastic EB 200, a thick-film system for the protection of reinforced concrete balcony floors, has now also passed all tests as walkable waterproofing in accordance with EAD 030350-00-0402. This extends the range of applications for the balcony coating, which has been tried and tested for more than 20 years.
The long-proven thick-layer system StoFloor Balcony Elastic EB 200 has now reached the highest level of the usage category with regard to service life W3 (25 years), climate zones (M and S) and temperature resistance. It fully meets the requirements for balcony waterproofing in accordance with DIN 18531-5 for direct and indirect access waterproofing. The system is suitable for balconies, access balconies and loggias. It impresses with its functionality and numerous design options with a wide range of colors and the option of adding accents with colored acrylic chips. It is even possible to tint individual containers.

The StoPur EB 200 balcony coating is UV and weather resistant. In summer, the system is particularly impressive under mechanical loads, while in winter it is very cold-elastic thanks to its multi-phase polymer matrix, so that cracks are reliably bridged. StoPur EB 200 passed the test with 2 mm crack width change over 1,000 cycles at - 10 degrees Celsius.

The system reduces impact sound by 12 decibels. It therefore makes a positive contribution to sound insulation in building construction (DIN 4109). The StoPur DL 520 or StoPur VR 100 sealants (filled with Sto Ballotini) also ensure that the floors are easy to clean and safe to walk on, even when wet.
