Social responsibility and transparent behaviour are essential for us. We are committed to social responsibility, sustainability and open communication. Our goals: From a corporate perspective, we are committed to issues such as compliance, supplier code of conduct, women's quota, equal rights and employee promotion. We want our products to be labelled with at least one eco-label without exception. We obtain raw materials from verifiably responsible sources.
Clear communication about sustainability
At Sto, we communicate about all our sustainability activities transparently and in a way that is tailored to our target groups. We identify the requirements of our stakeholders and align these with our goals, in line with the Sustainable Development Goals.
Information on the sustainability of our products
We adhere to health and environmental requirements and provide evidence of this compliance. We make the relevant product information available digitally and are also happy to provide information to individuals so that no questions go unanswered.

100% of our products have at least one eco-label (label, EPD, SDS)
Information on Corporate Social Responsibility
Sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) have been important topics for Sto ever since the company was founded. They are anchored in our Guiding Principles and are encapsulated in our corporate mission “Building with conscience.”. We adhere to the disclosure rules on CSR and report on our activities annually. Our standards are based on the ten principles of the UN Global Compact and the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI).

Obligation to uphold rules and social standards
Sto and StoCretec are committed to complying with the law! We take a clear stance against corruption, focus on sustainability along the entire supply chain and promote these attitudes through codes of conduct, training and other compliance measures.
We are committed from the ground up to strengthening human rights and preventing inuries against them. We are also responsible at Sto for complying with human rights in accordance with the German Supply Chain Due Diligence Act (LkSG).

Continual improvement process
We define our sustainability goals and measures for the entire Sto Group. With this in mind, we gather data and key figures as indicators and practice a continual process of improvement. We also use this data as the basis for regular reporting.
Sustainability is a management issue
At Sto, the Sustainability department actively reports to the Executive Board and engages in dialogue with stakeholders on sustainability and sustainable building - throughout the Group and worldwide.
