With water-based epoxy resin binders, StoCretec relies on a technology that already made it possible in the 1990s to dispense with solvents and plasticisers such as benzyl alcohol and nonylphenol. Together with TÜV Süd, the products were tested for pollutant emissions at an early stage, similar to today's AgBB tests, and labelled with the TÜV label. This label is gradually being replaced by a general building authority approval.
