Spalling on edges and corners
Missing edges and spalling on corners on balconies can be annoying, as such issues often affect the appearance. Yet with easy-to-apply quick repair mortars such as StoCrete SM, repairing defects like these is no problem. When it comes to flooring, the StoCrete RM F repair mortar for horizontal surfaces is just as quick.
All-round repair in underground car parks
Refurbishing parking structures and underground car parks is always a challenge. The surfaces subject to vehicle traffic feature reliable and durable protection against the ingress of water and water-soluble harmful substances. StoCretec’s surface protection systems for underground car parks take care of this.

But its functionality is also very important. Moisture, dirt, and salt are brought into the building via staircases. This means that concrete stairs are often subject to wear due to abrasion, salination, or humidity. Slip-resistant coatings create a safer environment for residents.
Numerous floor coatings from StoCretec are suitable for this purpose, e.g. by adding Sto Ballotini solid glass beads or scattering acrylate chips to ensure slip-resistance and can be cleaned with a manageable amount of effort.
Refurbishing cellars, boiler rooms, and laundry ro
Cellars and utility rooms do not have to be grey and dreary. Floor coatings from StoCretec can give these areas a decorative coat of coloured paint, which comes with an added protective benefit. In bicycle cellars, they prevent water and harmful substances such as de-icing salt from penetrating the concrete. In laundry and boiler rooms, they act as a water barrier if there is a leak. Even oil and grease can do no harm to the coated floors. If they are configured to be slip-resistant, they also improve safety for tenants in corridors and staircases.
