StoFloor Comfort Elastic BB 100 – Bright and colourful floor for kindergarten

The Kiserdei Kindergarten in Balatonfüred - a town on the northern shore of Hungary's Lake Balaton - has been completely renovated. This investment in the town's children was made possible by cofinancing of the European Union together with governmental support and a significant financial contribution from the town's local government. The two-storey building now offers four group rooms, a gym, a separate room for various activities, rooms for speech therapy as well as a spacious hall and a warm-up kitchen covering an area of over 760 square metres. The designers skilfully divided this area into smaller sections. They created a separate unit for each group of children, arranged around a large, bright and attractive auditorium with a domed window for natural light in the centre.

Cheerful colour shades and maximum walking comfort for playing and romping around
A good 670 square metres of floor area were colourfully coated with the visually high-quality and seamless StoFloor Comfort Elastic BB 100. The elastic coating system is ideal for nurseries and care facilities as well as for recreation and social rooms. It offers maximum walking comfort - even for small, zooming feet. The system’s impact sound-reducing properties meet the requirements of the kindergarten, as does the individual colour shading of the floor coating, which allows for a lively and warm design. The different rooms in the Kiserdei kindergarten were coated in "light ivory" (RAL 1015) and "pastel turquoise" (RAL 6034). The designer also chose additional colour shade accents with "pastel blue" (RAL 5024) and "saffron yellow" (RAL 1017). These colour nuances are further emphasised by the addition of Sto Ballotini solid glass beads in the StoPur WV 205 sealing coat as a striking design element. The viscoplastic StoFloor Comfort Elastic BB 100 system is also suitable for chair castors, it combines cracks bridging and limited combustibility.
