StoCretec water-protecting coating for Chemark in Hungary
Founded in 1991 by Hungarian entrepreneurs, Chemark is today a leading European contract manufacturer of complex plant protection products. Chemark's extensive portfolio includes both conventional chemical crop protection products and biological alternatives, thus covering a wide range of agricultural needs.

This autumn, the company refurbished and modernised one of its secondary containment tanks located below the raw material silos at its Berhida plant. To ensure compliance with Hungary's stringent environmental safety standards, high-performance coating systems for water protection were used:

StoFloor Industry Elastic WHG Deck 100 and StoFloor Industry Elastic WHG Deck 110
The water protection systems used at Chemark are highly crack-bridging and possess very high chemical and mechanical resistance. This applies regardless of whether the industrial vehicles are equipped with polyamide, Vulkollan, or solid rubber tires. Both systems are tested and approved according to the current standards of the German Institute for Building Technology (DIBt). The epoxy resin coatings can be applied with either smooth surfaces or integrated antislip properties, depending on the specific requirements.

In addition to the properties mentioned above, StoFloor Industry Elastic WHG Deck 110 offers an additional conductive intermediate layer as well as a conductive top layer. This prevents electrostatic charging when handling highly flammable media. The StoCretec conductive WHG coating system, grounded with conductive copper tape, thus protects not only against the ingress of water-polluting substances but also additionally protects people and materials from explosions caused by electrostatic discharge.
