Anyone interested in learning about salt mining and salt production should visit the Mariager Salt Centre in northern Jutland, Denmark. Located right next to Mariager's small harbour, the museum serves as a tourist attraction, bringing Danish and international visitors all the ins and outs of this topic. "Cool science and delicious products" is the museum's motto. That's why Mariager Salt is also used in the dishes at the adjoining Café Salt.
