New construction of a chemical-pharmaceutical warehouse in Singapore with StoFloor ESD KU 611
In the island and city state of Singapore in Southeast Asia, one of the world's leading companies in the fields of healthcare, life sciences and electronics built a new storage building for chemical-pharmaceutical products.
For the storage of highly specialized products, it is crucially important that the technical rule for hazardous substances – avoiding the risk of ignition due to electrostatic charging (TRGS 727) – is adhered to.
For these approximately 900 square meters of sensitive floor areas, the investor and his team of experts decided on the conductive epoxy resin system StoFloor ESD KU 611. The conductive layer of the system is StoPox WL 110. This floor coating solution ensures the required explosion protection in accordance with TRGS 727.
In addition, the coating system is highly mechanically and chemically resistant. The StoPox KU 611 levelling coating can be easily processed even under the climatic conditions in Singapore.
