StoCretec ESD-System für FRABA Werk in Malaysia

FRABA ist eine internationale Unternehmensgruppe, die hochwertige Produkte für die industrielle Automatisierung und Bewegungssteuerung herstellt. Sie unterhält Tochtergesellschaften in Deutschland, den Niederlanden, Polen, den Vereinigten Staaten und Singapur. Die FRABA Group ist einer der Marktführer in der Herstellung von Automatisierungsmaschinen, spezialisiert auf Schutz-, Bewegungs- und Positionssensoren.

Zur Erhöhung seiner Fertigungskapazitäten weltweit hat FRABA auf insgesamt 1.700 Quadratmetern ein neues Produktions- und Logistikzentrum in Malaysia, Iskandar Puteri, Johor, errichtet.

Sto SEA ist sehr stolz darauf, die Bodenbeschichtung für das Projekt liefern zu dürfen.

FRABA entschied sich für das hochwertige StoFloor ESD KU 613 Bodenbeschichtungssystem auf über 980 Quadratmetern der neuen Produktions- und Lagerbereiche. Die farbige Bodenbeschichtung wurde ausgewählt, weil sie nicht nur reinraumzertifiziert und chemisch beständig ist, sondern weil sie auch die höchsten ESD-Anforderungen erfüllt. Gefordert war hier die Erfüllung der ANSI/ESD S20.20/2014. Der Erdableitwiderstand musste im Bereich 1x104 Ohm - 1x108 Ohm liegen.

Zusätzlich zu den Produktionsbereichen entschied sich der Bauherr für StoPox WL 100, die Epoxidharzbeschichtung auf wässriger Basis, auf 42 Quadratmetern Treppenflächen und für unsere selbstnivellierende Epoxidharzbeschichtung, StoPox KU 601, für die 268 Quadratmeter Büroflächen der neuen Produktionsstätte.

Ein großer Vorteil von StoCretec-Systemlösungen war die Möglichkeit, die Bodenbeschichtung so zu tönen, dass sie die von FRABA spezifizierte Farbanforderung erfüllt: StoPox KU 613 (C101865), StoPox WL 100 und StoPox KU 601 (RAL9016) in strahlendem Weiß. Die Beschichtungen besitzen eine glatte, fugenlose Oberfläche und erreichen damit den gleichen anspruchsvollen Standard wie in den anderen regionalen Produktions- und Lagerstätten.

StoCretec ESD-System for FRABA New Manufacturing Location in Malaysia

FRABA is an international corporate group producing high quality products for industrial auto?mation and digital production control systems. The group has subsidiaries in Germany the Neth?erlands, Poland, the United States and Singapore. FRABA Group is one of the market leaders in the manufacture of automation machines, specialising in protection, operation and position sensors.

Increasing its production capacities worldwide, FRABA built and opened a new manufacturing and logistics centre in Malaysia, Iskandar Puteri, Johor, on a total of 1,700 square meters. Sto SEA is very proud to supply the floor coating for this project. FRABA opted for the high-quality StoFloor ESD KU 613 floor coating system on over 980 square meters of the new manufacturing and storage areas. The coloured floor coating was premium choice not only because it is cleanroom certified and chemically resistant. In addition to these system properties, it also meets the highest ESD requirements. The requirements of ANSI/ESD S20.20/2014 were to be complied. The resistance to ground must be in the range of 1x104 ohm - 1x108 ohm.

In addition to the floor coating of the production areas, the building owner FRABA opted for the water based epoxy resin floor coating StoPox WL 100 on 42 square meters of stair surfaces and for our self-levelling epoxy resin floor coating StoPox KU 601 for 168 square meters of office space at the new production facility.

A major benefit of StoCretec System Solutions delivered by Sto SEA was the selection of colours: The floor coating was tinted in accordance with FRABA’s specific colouring requirements:
StoPox KU 613 (C101865), StoPox WL 100 and StoPox KU 601 (RAL9016) in bright white. The floor coatings have a smooth, seamless and thus achieve the same demanding standard as the other regional manufacturing and storage facilities of the group.
