Conductive floor for pharmaceutical logistics secures their functionality

The pharmaceutical wholesaler Sanacorp built its most modern branch to date in the Hürth-Kalscheuren, Germany, industrial park. The logistics centre was equipped with a conductive, lowemission floor coating from StoCretec to ensure its long-term functionality.

Sanacorp eG is one of the largest pharmaceutical wholesalers in Germany. With 16 branches, it supplies around 8,000 pharmacies with medicinal and health products. In order to further improve the logistics network, Sanacorp has built its 17th location in Hürth. A state-of-the-art logistics centre was built on the 18,000 square meter property, specifically tailored to the wholesaler's needs. With its energy-saving building concept and its sophisticated storage, order picking and air conditioning technology, it is also the most modern to date.

In order to ensure the long-term functionality of the highly sensitive electronic equipment and thus the process chain, the commissioned planner - epb Projekt GmbH - required a conductive floor coating system. This dissipates all charges generated by people and vehicles into the ground so that no damage can occur from electrostatic discharges.
