Apátúr Training and Display Brewery Receives New Floor Coating StoFloor Food KU 601

The historic city of Györ in north western Hungary is known for its geographically unique location at the mouth of four rivers and for its sparkling cultural life. As an important part of Hungarian beer gastronomy, the Apátúr Brewery has revived the centuries-old tradition of Benedictine brewing and opened a show brewery and beer house in the city centre.

In the brewery production rooms in the basement of the building, Apátúr produces the beers Pilseni, Búza, New England IPA and Barna Ale. In order not to impair the quality of these beers, the floor must meet the highest hygienic requirements and withstand extreme loads.

The Apátúr Brewery project team, in close consultation with the abbey, decided on the certified StoCretec floor coating system StoFloor Food KU 601 for the teaching and show display brewery in the basement of the building.

The system is characterised by its high chemical resistance to media generated during the brewing process and to cleaning agents. It can be easily cleaned and decontaminated very effectively to ensure hygiene in production.
