To ensure that every substrate is prepared perfectly, Sto provides you with a broad range of different primers and intermediate coats. Only the interplay of all components guarantees a functional system and high-class surface of long-lasting quality. The water-based adhesion promoter StoAqua Allgrund makes your work faster and can be used on virtually all substrates in exteriors and interiors.
The importance of water-dilutable lacquers, glazes, and stains is on the rise, mainly in odour-sensitive areas such as interiors. So if you wish or need to work in a particularly environmentally-friendly manner, our water-dilutable hybrid systems come highly recommended, as they satisfy more stringent ecological requirements. One such example is the water-based finishing lacquer StoAqua Emaille PU Satin/Gloss for sensitive spaces.
Where particular protection against corrosion is required such as on exteriors, solvent-containing lacquers are still in high demand. The use of low-odour solvents in the aromatic-free alkyd resin lacquers has made strong odours during painting a nuisance of the past. Our solvent-containing classic lacquer, StoPremiumlack Satin/Gloss AF, is particularly suitable for hard-wearing surfaces.
As a building material, wood not only has a long tradition but is still sought after like never before. Wood surfaces need to be specially treated to keep them as beautiful as on the first day for many years to come. Our lasures featuring highly effective UV protection filters are very well suited to this purpose.
