Sophisticated StoCretec system solution for the repair of the digestion tower at the Nauheim sewage treatment plant
As part of the general overhaul of the municipal sewage treatment plant in Nauheim, Hesse, the digestion tower was repaired after more than 30 years of operation. During the structural analysis by the expert planner UNGER ingenieure, Darmstadt, extensive damage to the protective coating and the concrete underneath was identified in the interior of the tank. The repair concept comprised several coordinated measures to ensure the long-term functionality of the construction works.
